EMESSA Pharmaceuticals is one of the oldest pharmaceutical companies in Syria, it was founded in 1955 by the industrial registration No.1 in Homs city. Its ownership was transferred in 1997 to a group of pharmacist, chemists and doctors who took it upon themselves to take all the necessary measurements to keep up with the growing development of the pharmaceutical industry in Syria.
The company has acquired the certificate of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), it also acquired the certificates of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018.
The days went by and the company took distinctive steps in the pharmaceutical industry between 2000-2017, then in 2022 it gained the attention of a group long-experienced investors in the pharmaceuticals industry and its ownership was transferred to the group with the dawn of 2023 beginning.
