Each 100 gram contains: Dibucaine (Cinchocaine) 1 gram.
Mechanism of action and pharmacological properties:
SUPERCAINE Ointment contains the active ingredient Dibucaine that inhibits nerve impulses from sensory nerves. Therefore, it possesses local anesthetic and antipruritic properties.
SUPERCAINE ointment is distinguished with its prompt and efficient long acting anesthetic effect.
Indications:
For prompt, temporary relief of pain, itching and burning due to hemorrhoids or other anorectal disorders. May also be used topically for temporary relief of pain and itching associated with sunburn, minor burns, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, or minor skin irritation.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to any of the components.
Side effects:
In rare cases, it may develop allergic reactions.

Directions:
Adults: Cleanse the affected area and rinse thoroughly, gently dry, apply to the affected area up to 3 or 4 times daily.
Children 2-12: Do not use except under the advice of a physician.
